A Bit About Me

Jakob Johnson was raised in Bend, Oregon, and like everyone who has the pleasure of even passing through, is enthralled by it's natural beauty. His love of the outdoors naturally led him to landscaping directly out of high school, while he continued to further his understanding of the trade throughout his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Oregon and Oregon State University, respectively.
 

After teaching at a local high school, he found himself longing for the creativity and sense of accomplishment he'd found in the landscape industry. And, while his clients find him to be both passionate and knowledgeable, he is not stagnant in his growth, but rather continues to educate himself to better serve them and add to the already beautiful landscape of Central Oregon. He is directly involved  in the day-to-day operations and with each and every project that Yak Landscapes takes on. He recognizes that the quality of his work is a reflection on the quality of his character and therefore takes it quite seriously. His guidance in your next project promises to be well informed and his work to be of the highest quality.
